Say Something or Keep My Mouth Shut??

Filed Under (Short Writings) by WendyF on 05-07-2008

As you know we have a new grand baby. Now don’t get me wrong I am tickled pink about it.

What truly bothers me is the fact that they hold her all the time. She nurses fine which is great but I don’t think they have set her down except for baths, diapers and changing clothes.

I think they are going to have some real problems with her if they keep it up. One can’t even buy a playpen any more that is half way decent. What good is a 38″ playpen that holds only 15 pounds of child??

It’s a joke. I had playpen when my boys were younger, in went the toys and the child. At least I could get a cup of coffee without interruption. Or I spread a blanket on the floor and put them on it. Along with toys of course.

I just can’t see holding a babe the whole time they are awake.

Am I wrong??

Should I say anything??

Or should I mind my own business and let them handle what they have done??

Do Spouses Look and Think Alike??

Filed Under (Fact and Fancy, Short Writings) by WendyF on 04-07-2008

Our anniversary is coming up on July 14th and just thought I would fire that question out there. We will be married all of 35 years. Know idea where the time has gone.

What are your thoughts on it? Do we actually start to look alike and think alike?? I am the one holding our new Granddaughter and hubby is the dude in the dark suit beside me. Yes I posted a real pic of us. (Don’t tell my hubby LOL)

Fact be known as partners we do think a lot alike. I find that Hubby have a scary link. I know when he is going to phone or even worse he will call and tell me what I am cooking for dinner. He is right 99% of the time.

Yes there are some studies out there that determine people who live with each other for 25 years actually develop similar facial features. Do I believe it?? Do you??

I will say something and Hubby will state that is exactly what I was going say.

Is it true that that partners that play together stay together??

Enough to Make Your Head Spin!!

Filed Under (Short Writings) by WendyF on 02-07-2008

Do you ever wonder why we Blog at all. I mean aren’t we all aiming for page views and pageranking increases.

I am not terribly worried about pagerank as I already have a blog with PR 5. Hold on a second, yea Pagerank is great but what good is it if you don’t have any page views??
Wendy’s OBA, Blog Tips & Tricks is sitting at a PR5 and has very few pageviews. Crazy isn’t it.

Enough to make your Head spin. We go from blog to blog leaving “Comment Luv” at blogs just hoping that we can a visit from them.
Are we wasting hours by doing that? I mean commenting on other blogs?? When you leave behind a comment do they actually return the favour(favor)??

As if that isn’t enough we then join places like Digg, Technorati, Del.icio.us , Reddit and if that isn’t enough you also joined Twitter (which I have no clue if it is working or not.

So why do we even bother? There don’t seem to be enough hours in a day to get done everything I would like to get done.

Ok so mayhap I need to get organized. Hahaha

Some blogs just seem to attract traffic. Benny’s Ya-attude gets a great number of comments. Must admit though it is well worth the read and gets you thinking.

Like this one for instance Offended Blogger. I get a real kick out of the writing here.

There must someone out there that can let us newbie bloggers know what it is we are doing wrong.
